Throughout her life, Lindy has served as a counselor and spiritual director for countless individuals facing diverse challenges. As a lay hermitess, she extends the gentle ministry of compassionate listening to those seeking God, offering solace in the presence of the Divine. With prayer as her primary focus, Lindy provides a loving ear and God’s peace to those earnestly seeking guidance.

Lindy’s extensive experiences serving the incarcerated, homeless, and distressed, coupled with her lifelong blindness, have equipped her with a wealth of inspirational insights. Through the Sacred Lighthouse, Lindy shares encouragement and inspiration through the written word, aiming to uplift and enrich the lives of readers.

Located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Lindy’s hermitage offers hospitality to those seeking companionship and community on Sundays and holidays. Through gestures such as sending greeting cards to hospital and prison inmates, as well as crafting handmade items for those in need, Lindy aims to spread joy and friendship to all.

Ministry to the Wrongly Convicted

For the past decade, Lindy has been a staunch advocate for the wrongly convicted in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Drawing from her own experiences within the justice system, Lindy offers hope and practical encouragement to the wrongfully incarcerated and their loved ones. Her book, “The Open Gate To Paradise,” serves as a testament to her journey and a source of inspiration for those facing similar challenges.
